Some strange clues have been seen but the proof is eluding us when it comes to "big pharma" and the FDA who have somehow managed to rationalize approving inferior synthetic THC Marinol. Current medicines can run $10,000 a month, and plenty of industry players aren't welcoming any 'open source' competition. Marinol, on the other hand, is proprietary and therefore acceptable. Corn pales in comparison to hemp ethanol in per acre yield. Motive: The oil industry has been adept at gaming the political system, without regard for the environmental consequence, and most consumers still use their product with the same lack of concern.
The prison industry:
Fighting Hemp by fighting marijuana:
One of the oldest rules is to follow the money, and %^&$^%$ $%^$%^ ^$%^$^
Summary of Corporate Philosophy:
Profit is good. Competition is bad. Using the system to keep the natural competition illegal is money well spent. A miracle plant with thousand of uses will naturally have thousands of enemies...
